Villa Crocialoni is located in the rolling hills above Fucecchio, Italy, west of Florence. Villa Crocialoni, which means "crossroads", is situated on what remains of an old 1,000-acre estate. The ground includes the villa, several out buildings, chapel, pool, vegetable gardens, olive trees and fig trees.

Marco's family has owned Crocialoni for many centuries and Buncky is from St Louis, educated in New York City in French Cuisine. She has over 40 years of Tuscan cooking experience. Buncky conducts informal, hands-on, individual or small group cooking classes in the kitchen of their Villa.

Marco's specialty is teaching bread baking in their wood-burning oven that was constructed in 1886. The oven supplies the bread and forum for creating your own pizza. Marco also supervises the November olive picking and pressing, he makes jam from their fig trees and limoncello. In addition he collects the freshly laid eggs for breakfast every morning from their free-range chickens. He also makes an excellent Tiramisu.

Marco and Buncky Pezzini exemplify a true Italian/American marriage. This provides client with an experience of an old world and new world brought together with great respect each other's food and culture.

The main villa guests will have a sense of the family home, with antique silverware, etched platters and ceramic pitchers. The kitchen is the center of the activities where the lessons are shared and entertaining stories recalled. Shrimp risotto, saltinbocca and pappa al pomadoro, it's a rich life and it is shared without reservation.
